This directory contains the March 1996 release of the ACVC, 
Version 2.0.1. It contains test suite documentation and the 
complete release (as well as complete documentation) in TAR 
and ZIP formats for UNIX systems.

Directory           Description
--------------      ----------------------------------
release-notes/      Release Notes in postscript and text format that
                    list changes to the test suite, including new, 
                    modified, and deleted tests.

test-obj/           Available in postscript and text formats, the Test 
                    Objectives document describes the objectives for 
                    each test in the suite. 

users-guide/        The ACVC 2.0.1 User's Guide, intended to be used 
                    by compiler implementers amd software developers 
                    who maintain a version of the ACVC as a maintenance 
                    control tool, and third-party testers (e.g., Ada 
	            Validation Facilities).

withdrawn/          A listing of all tests withdrawn from ACVC 2.0.1 
                    because they no longer hold true for all Ada
	            implementations or do not meet test objectives. 


TAR/                Contains the March 1996 release of the ACVC
                    and its documentation in TAR format.

ZIP/                Contains the March 1996 release of the ACVC
                    and its documentation in ZIP format.
